Diaper drop off
It's amazing the amount of diapers you can go through in a single day when you have twins. When they were just newborns we were going through at lease 12 a day! It has slowed down to about 8 or 10 now. When my twins were about 2 months old my mom did a diaper drop off for me and we didn't have to buy diapers until they were about 10 months old and we still have a bunch that they grew out of before they could use them all and we just barely had to start buying wipes. What we did was have people bring diapers and wipes and they got to come see the twins, kind of like a baby shower but with only diapers and wipes. It was really fun to show them off and the diapers helped out a ton! I would highly reconmend it to anyone that's having twins.

Baby proof tree!
I told my husband that there was no way he could put up a Christmas Tree this year because I didn't want to fight the twins all month, so he built a fence to put around it. I love how it turned out and the best part is that they can't get anywhere near it!

Poop again
So my twins poop 3 to 4 times each a day, so yesterday I decided to let their poor little bums air out for a couple of minutes because their diaper rash is horrible. Well Jaxon headed down the hall and by the time I went to get him and put his diaper back on he had pooped and then started to eat it! That was really gross! So I sure won't do that again.

Not a proud mom moment
So you know how babies first time doing things are suppose to be exciting and magical? Well the first time that Jaxon rolled over it was not exactly magical. I was changing William's poopy diaper and Jaxon rolled from his stomach to his back right on top of it and got poop all over himself! Oh yeah I wasn't exactly to proud with that one, I'd say it was more of a headache then awesome.

Sleep? What's that?
Who would of thought that having twins could be so much work?! My husband had used up all his time off of work while we were at the hospital, so when we got home I was pretty much on my own. My husband worked nights, so my mom, bless her heart, came over that first week to help me through the nights. I never knew that someone could run off of only four hours of sleep a night! And my husband was feeling it through the day. Nothing got done around the house, the place was a wreck and the laundry was piled high. It was babies 24/7 not to mention that they still had oxegen and monitors that they had to wear all the time. And those monitors went off not stop! It became a normal thing to have to wake the baby up to get him to start breathing again, and when they were both going off at the same time it was seeing how fast you could move. It wasn't until about six months that I finally got a good nights sleep and they were doing really good at sleeping through the night. Well my husbands shift changed and so they learned that daddy was home and if they woke up he would be right there to take care of them. So needless to say they went from sleeping all night with no bottles to waking up 3 times a night for bottles. Very furstrating! This went on until they were just over a year old until I finally got my husband to let them scream it out. I'll tell you one thing it's amazing what a baby can sleep through. William has a very high pitched scream that could wake up the neighborhood and Jaxon would be sound a sleep in his crib across the room. Jaxon started sleeping though the night long before William. But I am proud to say that they both have learned to sleep through the night and so as a result to them sleeping through the night now we get to sleep through the night and it's the best thing in the world!
